Although we do have a bit of a thing for digital and could argue, sorry, debate until the proverbial cows come home about how important it actually is, no man, or communication channel, is an island. We love joined up thinking.
Jacqueline Wilson is a huge brand. Her books are always warm, thought-provoking and supportive and her illustrative style is very distinctive so her website needed to reflect this.
Transworld wanted an online platform to promote Jacqueline’s books and appearances plus a friendly community for her fans to meet and chat. Bearing in mind the young age of her fans, the community needed sensitive treatment and easy monitoring.
Solution
A vivid, bright website showing the best of her writing and illustrator Nick Sharratt’s drawing, all backed by our Amber CMS.
As well as the features you would expect, such as games, competitions and information on her new releases and back catalogue, community moderation allows CMS users to check messages for suitable content - approve, edit or delete the messages – meaning parents can rest assured their children are visiting a safe corner of the web when they are on Jacqueline’s site.
