Brief
Silver Cross were not backwards in coming forwards with a list of requirements.
A robust ecommerce site.
An easy to use content management system that can be updated by multiple people.
A customer relationship manager that supports their brilliant customer service and allows the company to do so much more with the data collected at the varying parts of the purchase cycle.
Solution
We gave them the whole enchilada – the full Amber suite: CMS, CRM and Ambermail.
All three systems are fully integrated and talk to each other constantly in real time – there’s no lag and no need for staff to manually hit button A for Process B to happen.
When a customer buys from the site, their details go into the CRM and Ambermail. When they add any details on the site or on the phone to customer services, that’s added into the CRM too.
So, when Silver Cross wants to target customers who, having bought a pram last year, will more than likely need a new car seat next year, they can use the fully informed and up-to-date CRM system to narrow down to customers who might actually be interested.

But don’t just take our word for it…
Usually the uptake of a new CMS means compromise – either have the design you want but lose functionality, or get the tools you need and give up some of the aesthetic features you really liked.
bpi.’s Amber CMS has given me none of these headaches and all the creative and functional objectives have been met, and then some. Also pleasing has been seeing how the Amber CMS and the Amber CRM system interface with each other; we now have genuine joined-up thinking across our customer contact points.
